The ISSX Finance Committee consists of six appointed members plus the President, Treasurer, Treasurer-elect and Executive Director as ex-officio members, with the Past Treasurer as chairperson.  The responsibilities of this committee are to prepare and present an annual budget for action by Council, prepare annually 3-year projections for the Society budget and dues structure, review and approve budgets of all Society sponsored meetings, and to formulate recommendations to Council for the long term financial planning for the Society.  Each member serves a four-year term on the committee, with half the members rotating off every two years.  

Specific Charge:  The Finance Committee interfaces with MOC's, the Council, and Executive Director and provides financial input and guidance.  It maintains appropriate communication with relevant committees (e.g., Scientific Affairs Committee, Membership Committee) and develops written policies/guidelines so as to develop institutional memory.
