Discussion Forum Instructions

The ISSX Discussion Forums, a member-only benefit, is an interactive bulletin board where members may share tips and resources, ask questions of one another, and help fellow members solve problems or take a new view towards a particular situation.

First-time users will need to initially register in order to post to the Forums.  To do so, log in to the member only area of the ISSX website and click on the Discussion Forum link found in the “Members Only” area of the web site.  The link may also be accessed from the left-hand navigation column after successfully logging in to the members only area.

Once at the main screen of the Forums, click the “register” button (indicated with a check mark).  You only need to enter a user name and a valid email address before you click the submit button on the bottom of the page.  Once you have done this, the system will email you a confirmation and a password.  Use your user name and password to login in from the main Forums screen.  At this point you may change your password to anything you would like by simply selecting the “profile” button.  With these easy steps completed you are free to view the message threads, respond to a posting, or post a new message.

Discussion Forum users may elect to receive email notification of any new posting to any thread to which they have posted.  This option may be elected by accessing the “profile” menu and selecting the check box “Subscribe me to topics to which I post”.  At this time, the system does not have an option for registered users to receive a digest version of all of the prior day’s postings.

Take advantage of this opportunity to communicate with others across the world who do what you do for a living and, therefore, understand the challenges that you face.  Who knows – perhaps the dilemma you are facing today your fellow member solved yesterday!
