The mission of ISSX is "to facilitate and encourage the assembly, acquaintanceship and association of scientists engaged in research in xenobiotic metabolism and in other related disciplines."  ISSX is taking advantage of new and innovative ways to promote networking and information sharing and encourages you to join us!

ISSX Meetings are the premier way to network in the xenobiotics field.  ISSX will hold the 9th International ISSX Meeting, September 4-8, 2010 in Istanbul, Turkey.  Click here for upcoming meeting information.
We also promote networking through other organizations' meetings.  A listing of these meetings can be found on our Calendar of Events.
ISSX offers two online discussion forums a general discussion forum called "Xenobiotics Forum" and a young investigators discussion forum called "Student/Postdoctoral Networking Forum."  Both forums provide a terrific opportunity to share in thoughts, tips, and ideas on any topic.

The International Society for the Study of Xenobiotics aims to keep members and non-members informed.  We encourage individuals with an interest in xenobiotics to join us on these new media web sites:

Stay "linked" with ISSX and your colleagues through the ISSX LinkedIn Group. LinkedIn is a social platform used mainly for professional networking.  On LinkedIn you can post your professional background, and your interests.  You can also connect with people, post messages, and read their posts about any given topic.  Join our LinkedIn network today!
Facebook helps individuals connect and share with people in your life.  Become a "Fan" of the ISSX Group on Facebook.  Here you will be able to conect with other individuals in the field, receive up-to-date information regarding events and programs.  We also have provided photos from the past few meetings.
Follow ISSX and stay up to date on the latest information about conferences, workshops, and news from the world of xenobiotics.
