ISSX Fellowship for Minority Scientists within the North American Region

2025 applications are now being accepted.

Details: This fellowship is to be awarded to early-career scientists studying xenobiotics who are from racial and ethnic groups (Hispanic or Latino, American Indian or Alaska Native, Black or African American, Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander) that have been shown by the National Science Foundation to be underrepresented in health-related sciences on a national basis.

The fellowship award will include:

• Complimentary registration for the 2025 International ISSX Meeting
• A travel stipend for hotel and travel to the 2025 International  ISSX Meeting
• A speaking opportunity at the 2025 International ISSX Meeting (short presentation of 15 minutes to present research)
• Complimentary membership in ISSX for the years 2025, 2026, and 2027
• Complimentary access to all webinars, workshops, short courses, and meetings available in the ISSX Learning Center
• An honorarium in the amount of $1,500

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants must currently live and work/study in the US (American citizen, naturalized citizen, or permanent resident with a Green Card or Permanent Resident Card) or Canada (Canadian citizen, naturalized citizen, or permanent resident with a valid PR Card) 
  
• Applicants must be within the first ten years of having earned their highest degree
• Fellowship recipients must present a poster of original work at the 2025 International Meeting
